About
I’m a UX Researcher and Designer with a passion to problem solve and build comprehensive digital products. I create functional design solutions through evidence-based user research. My previous position as an Americorps member inspired my interest in using design as a tool to enhance learning experiences. I served at a non-profit in Richmond, VA where I created a simplified financial literacy curriculum for individuals new to the United States.
In my free time, I aim to bring more Urdu-language designs to the world. Designing in the traditional Urdu script enables me to contribute to the accessibility of this less-commonly taught language. I have designed Urdu workbooks for ALIA, a non-profit that teaches children a variety of languages. More about that experience can be found in my blogpost. Additionally, I started an Etsy shop that sells digital prints in Urdu (as well as Hindi) and am currently writing children’s books to helps South Asian kids learn simple Urdu vocabulary.
